Eternal Fulcrum bounces light through darkness. The word equinox suggests balance yet just as that stable point is reached the earth tips back into a state of imbalance, having either a greater amount of light or darkness depending on where you stand on the planet. We look to the times when light is stronger as a sign of rebirth and to the dark days that encourage restful reflection, just as society renews itself after incubating a forward path, bouncing light back into the darkness that was.

Vessels containing dichroic film on one side and clear mirror film on the other reach across the void throwing static and dispersing darkness. Airplane cable describes a meandering path that derives it’s strength from interwoven tension. The piece is woven onto a steel frame and wall mounted.
