Change Your Mind

Scale, Tornado, Creature, Comma, Fish, Consciousness. How are things held together? How is social cohesion accomplished? How do we examine our thoughts? How are we conscious of our thoughts? How can abstract thought lead to concrete objects? How are our thoughts held together? Why do things feel solid to us? What are emotions? Why does our nervous system run our lives? How can we continue to live? What is an unconscious state? How can we still be alive when we are unconscious? Why do we interact with non-conscious objects the way that we do? Why do we have to be so complex? What’s the purpose of our being? Does it matter if we die? Why do we spend so much time manipulating our environment? What does money mean? Does it matter if we hate each other? Why is love better than hate? What has all of our evolution done for us? Why do we feel differently about different people? Why are the details of each person’s life unknowable? Why do we trust anyone? Why do we spend so much time jostling for position? What should we know that we don’t know? How can we solve problems? How do we digest knowledge and turn it into answers? Why do we have problems? What is a problem anyway? Why are we always reaching for what’s next?
